It’s 10:30 p.m. this Saturday evening.
While the majority of residents of the Korian Tamias nursing home, in Quincy-sous-Sénart (Essonne), are already in bed, Anne Marie, 79, is putting on her best. This evening, "it's the big evening” for her and Daniel, another 90-year-old retiree.
Surrounded by the nursing and supervisory team, they are preparing to join the Se7en club in Brie-Comte-Robert (Seine-et-Marne).
“It’s my first time in a nightclub.
I had to wait until I was almost 80 to go there.
It was about time,” laughs Anne Marie.
For the occasion, she put a little color around her eyes, she who never wears makeup.
And pulled out one of her best outfits.
“I didn’t know at all what to wear.
When I opened my wardrobe, I was a little lost.
» She finally opts for a black skirt and a striped top.
Daniel put on a shirt and pleated pants.
