A man in his twenties died Sunday evening in Talant, after being shot several times on the public highway, we learned from police sources.
The events allegedly took place shortly after 9:00 p.m. in an area
“known to be the scene of drug trafficking”

Shots reportedly came from a vehicle
“with several individuals on board”
, fatally injuring the victim, a first police source told AFP.
A second added that the young man was part of a group of young people installed
“in front of a building lobby”
before the shots rang out and the occupants of the car fled.
The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police, according to the same source.
This violent episode in Talant is in addition to another which took place during the night from Thursday to Friday in the outskirts of Dijon when a 19-year-old young man, from the sensitive district of Fontaine d'Ouche, was fatally stabbed.
Four people, including three minors, were subsequently arrested.
