Few politicians dare to speak of “uterus” in their speeches.
Kamala Harris last week visited a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
A great first for a vice-president.
She visited the premises, spoke with the doctors and declared that she was there
because there is a health crisis
.
“The uterus
,” she explained, “
is a part of the body that needs a lot of medical attention from time to time
,” for
“fibroids,”
for example.
However, conservative
“extremists”
have passed
“scandalous and, in many cases, simply immoral”
laws which have led to the closure of clinics whose mission is to provide abortions, but also gynecological consultations and other services.
