The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin,
will stop at nothing to rule forever,
including committing crimes in Ukraine, which is why he demanded that the president end up on the bench of the International Criminal Court ( CPI).
“This imitation of 'elections' has no legitimacy, nor can it have any.
This person must end up on the bench in The Hague.
This is what we must guarantee.
“Anyone in the world who values life and decency,” he stated in his traditional nightly speech to the population.
Zelensky indicated that “everything Russia is doing in the occupied territories is a crime” and that therefore “there should be a fair response to everything that Russian murderers did in this war
to guarantee Putin's eternal leadership.”
In the opinion of the Ukrainian head of state, there is no evil that Putin would not commit to maintain his personal power.
“There is only one thing that scares him more (than losing power): accountability,” Zelensky said of Putin, who he said is “drunk with power” and “will
stop at nothing to rule forever.”
