Florian Silbereisen has hosted many hit shows for ARD and MDR for over 20 years.
The musician is supposed to earn a fortune with his broadcasts.
Passau – A full 21 years have passed since Florian Silbereisen (42) appeared in front of the camera for the first time as the presenter of a hit show.
The Lower Bavaria native made his debut in the MDR production “With Florian, Hat and Walking Stick” in 2002 and is now an integral part of the German-speaking television landscape with his “Feste” series.
Of course, with so many shows, you get a decent salary, as insider information now seems to show.

Regardless of whether it is the “Schlagerbooom”, the “Schlagerchampions” or his winter “Advent Festival” shows – Florian Silbereisen has proven to be a reliable ratings guarantor for ARD and MDR in recent years.
Despite his ongoing success, his future in the MDR program is currently uncertain, as his contract expires at the end of 2023 and negotiations for an extension have already been canceled twice.
The third attempt is scheduled to take place on December 4th - until then, Silbereisen and the station will be shaking.

According to a list from MDR, Helene Fischer's (39) ex-boyfriend is said to have received an impressive 900,000 euros for his hit shows in 2021.
However, it is not known exactly what fees he received for which formats - nor how many and which programs his fee covered.

What will happen next for Florian Silbereisen at MDR is anyone's guess - but fans can still look forward to the entertainer and actor's popular pre-Christmas formats this year.
On December 2nd, “The Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights” will be shown on the first and on December 18th the “Great Advent Festival Singing” will be shown – both at prime time at 8:15 p.m.
At the beginning of 2024, the next big hit spectacle, the “Schlagerchampions”, will be broadcast live from the Berlin Velodrome on January 13th.

Florian Silbereisen has also been working together with ZDF for a long time and impresses as Captain Max Parger in the cult series “Das Traumschiff”.
Shortly before the latest episode was broadcast on November 26th, the TV veteran had to cope with another setback, as ZDF canceled one of its programs.
