A volcano erupted, Iceland/according to section
For the fourth time since December: a volcano in southwest Iceland erupted, lighting up the region's sky with lava light.
The residents of the area, who are experienced with eruptions, managed to keep the destructive lava away from the infrastructure, including from a nearby fishing town, using barriers that were built ahead of time.

The eruption began on Saturday night, and according to Haldor Gairsson, an associate professor at the Institute of Earth Sciences at the University of Iceland, "it was quite large," and that "a lot of lava came out - more than in the previous eruption."
