Gröbenzell – The Jugend forscht competition also took place this year under the motto “Make a head of it!”

The Gröbenzell high school was represented in the Munich West regional competition with a total of ten projects.

Over 100 students competed in a total of 63 projects to identify the best young researchers in various subject areas.

Participants achieved good results

At this year's regional competition, the participants from the Gröbenzell high school performed well.

Philipp Lorff secured first place in the technology department and will present his project at the state competition.

The project by David Vaksic and Martin Brachert also received second place in the technology category.

Leon Schuster achieved second place in the chemistry department.

In the junior section “Students experimenting”, the Gröbenzell students dominated even more.

Viyona Singh and Aarav Singh impressed the jury with their two projects and took first place in the fields of mathematics/computer science and earth and spatial sciences.

Linnea Kampschulte, Lilli Beck, Christian Bielen and Theodor Wisniewski also achieved second place in the field of work.

Nominated as Bavarian Research School

Jonas Röhrl, one of the support teachers, also received a prize for his support work and will take part in a network meeting of the best support teachers in Germany in November.

Due to these achievements and the high-quality work, the Gröbenzell high school was nominated as a Bavarian research school for the fourth time.
