, along with his sister Karina, will travel to
Miami
in April to receive
a distinction that will be awarded to him by the Jewish community
residing in that American city.
Both will be named
"international ambassadors of light"
during a dinner organized by the Chabad Lubavitch Jewish movement.
The meeting will be during the night of
April 10

That day, they will receive the decoration for "their tireless efforts for Israel and the global community," on the occasion of the inauguration in Miami of the Menachem Mendel Schneerson Center, who was a very influential Chabad Lubavitch rabbi on a global level in the last century.

will hold meetings with businessmen from the United States and Latin America
who support his economic program and intend to invest in Argentina, especially in the areas of energy and mining.

The trip would begin on April 8 and end one day after the ceremony, on the 11th, so it would last three days.

The Ohel, which the president had already visited in July 2023, is a pilgrimage site for Hasidic (Orthodox) Jews, with whom Milei maintains close religious ties in Buenos Aires.
The president recognized himself as Catholic, but he also said a few years ago that he planned to convert to Judaism and is currently receiving instruction in Jewish holy books.
The Argentine head of state also maintains close bilateral relations with Israel, a country he visited last February.
