Subtle, a bit rough and, above all, sporty: the strong beer tapping covered the entire spectrum of Penzberg city life.
Local politics in particular got their fat removed.
Penzberg – Brother Servatius is back.
After his break in 2023, Penzberg's Lenten preacher (Rainer Hofmann) from the regular wort team of the Oberlandler Volkstheater climbed back onto the stage in the fully filled town hall for the premiere of the strong beer tapping on Friday evening (March 15th).
This year, however, the eloquent brother had brought a nun with him as female support: Sister Tina (Bettina Calliari) looked at the latest city events with him.
At the premiere of the strong beer tapping on Friday in Penzberg, the main focus was on city politics
Servatius covered everything from general politics (“Braun, find me, heard in Windln”) to AI-generated advertising (“Strong beer is still strong beer”) and architectural grievances in the Piorama parking garage to the long wait for a fire station decision including the city’s new patron saint (“Holy Schlendrian”).
The brother also mourned the losses in the Penzberg inn community.
Servatius looked with interest at the installation of intelligent electricity meters in the town hall.
“Once the electricity meter is more intelligent than the citizen mayor and the city council,” then only one thing remains: “Present all decisions to the meter and have them approve it.”

Lenten preacher Servatius had Sister Tina as support this year
Nun Tina commented on the low temperature of the Piorama swimming water and the name of the family pool (“Piorama, that sounds like a mixture of a hygiene product and a vegetable margarine”).
And the Penzberg household reminds the sister of Leberkäs (“with Leberkäs you don’t know what else comes along”).
Vocal football fans: Tom Sendl (l.) and Andi Mummert supported the city team with the other “Hanni Ultras” around Anni Pelg, Barbara Buchczyk and Andrea David.

The Penzberg footballers were also a surprise bag, as they were led into the derby against the district by a coach Stefan Korpan (Benno Arnstadt), who was very confident and was fond of cell phone videos.
“The football fiasco”, as the song was titled, actually threatened to become a reality given the lack of talent in the city council footballers.
The coach constantly had to deal with the ambitious “Trainer AD” Elke Zehetner (Catrin Boxberger), the listless Jack Eberl (Stefan Rosenberger), a barefoot John-Christian Eilert (Stefan David) and an unhappy goalkeeper Christian Eberl (Valentin Lenk). .
At halftime, the Penzbergers were 0:6 behind, and the fans' chants of the “Hanni Ultras” didn't help.

But great coaches have a bag of tricks.
The Penzberg coach grabbed a mysterious syringe from the Nonnenwald.
And lo and behold: from then on it worked.
In the end, Penzberg triumphed over the district 7:6.
And Korpan gave his coaching rival (and controversial referee) district administrator Andrea Jochner-Weiß (“No matter how it turns out: Penzberg will pay”) a consoling and patronizing hug.
