Discussion of petitions against the government regarding the recruitment of ultra-orthodox yeshiva students/Roni Knafo
The State Attorney's Office responded today (Sunday) to a petition to the High Court regarding the non-appointment of a president of the District Court in Be'er Sheva - due to the disagreement with the positions of the Minister of Justice to fill the position of President of the Supreme Court Fogelman: "The two should be allowed to exhaust the discourse between them"
. In the petition filed by the Lavi organization against Levin and Fogelman, the state attorney's office represents the two - this is in view of the opposing positions of both.

For example, Minister Levin's position as presented by the Attorney General's Office claims that as soon as a suitable candidate for the position is found by the search committee, he must be appointed. In doing so
, Levin supports the appointment of the candidate Avi Levy.
The attorney's office, is that he opposes Levy's appointment for institutional and systemic reasons.
