In the middle of a night of streaming, while playing an online video game, presidential spokesperson
Manuel Adorni
made a
controversial analogy
with the picketing groups, which he compared to enemies to whom
"I am giving them a hard time so that they do not come and break my balls"
.
The provocative video cut was broadcast by Adorni himself on his social networks, with the legend "Age Night? End", alluding to Age of Empires II, a real-time strategy game set in the Middle Ages, al which he usually refers to in his posts.
"They are the ones I'm giving hard to so they don't come and break my balls anymore," he says in reference to a rival village, while on the screen you can see how his men begin to attack him.
In the game, he explains, this group (the Danes) had asked him for a tribute of 500 gold pieces to stop raiding his territory, but
since he only gave them 200, they continue in conflict
.
"So obviously you're going to be able to negotiate with other tribes so that they don't screw you with things. The typical one,
they're like the picketers of the 9 de Julio
, you give them plans and it's more or less the same logic apparently," he says.
This is not the first time that the official authorized to speak on behalf of the President of the Nation uses the Age of Empires game to undermine opposition groups.
In an Age II game this is the rebellion of the villagers.

On March 7, one day before Women's Day, the FIT national representative made a post in which she told Adorni that "no matter how many you threaten us, we are going to confront them and we are going to beat them."
The spokesperson responded with a proposal: "I challenge you to an Age II head to head and we'll see if you're really right."
Biasi picked up the gauntlet and asked Adorni not to be distracted by the game and called him a "late gamer."
The next day, he posted again on his X account, this time with a photo of the 8M march showing the massive call from feminist groups.
"In a game of Age II, this is the rebellion of the villagers. @Madorni we destroy your little castle," she stated.
Vanina, I hope you are well.
I'll tell you one thing: I'll grab you in an Age of Empires II and destroy you.
As in your reality, you will not leave the stone age.
Wololo.

"Vanina, I hope you're okay. I'm going to tell you one thing: I'll catch you in an Age of Empires II and destroy you. Like in your reality, you won't get out of the stone age. Wololo," Adorni responded once again .
The curious thing is that the spicy crossover between the spokesperson and the legislator reached the creators of the real-time strategy game.
"As the Age of Empires business leader, I'm pleased to see the game finally reach its 'arbiter of Argentine national politics' stage. I'll be happy to fly in and help coordinate matches for any future disagreements," William McCahill posted.

I'd be happy to fly down and help coordinate matches for any future disagreements.#UnityThroughAOE https://t.co/zIvltxNjMQ
