In May 2023, a million tickets were sold in less than forty-eight hours, when 20 of the 32 disciplines were already full.
On social networks, many sports fans complained about not being able to find a place for this or that event.
Since then, nearly 8 million tickets in total have been sold for the events which will be held from July 24 to August 11, out of the 10 million put on sale by Paris 2024 for this first sporting fortnight.
