Left-wing groups and social organizations will hold a new day of protest against the government of President
Javier Milei
, in which they will complain about the
lack of attendance
.
This Monday, starting at 10 in the morning, the
Piquetero Fighting Front
, together with the Union of
Workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP)
, among dozens of other groups, will carry out what they called a "national picket."
The protest will have its main headquarters at the
Pueyrredon Bridge
, but they also assure that they will carry out
"more than 500 cuts and mobilizations throughout the country
" in the face of "the absolute lack of response from the government to the food emergency and the adjustment to the popular economy."
At the accesses to the city of Buenos Aires, they will also cut Route 3 and General Paz, General Paz and Avenida Rivadavia and the Saavedra Bridge.
The picket day will represent a new challenge to the so-called
anti-picket protocol
that the Ministry of Security, headed by
Patricia Bullrich
, has implemented since Milei's inauguration in La Rosada to avoid the interruption of traffic.
"For months we have been experiencing food shortages, by order of Sandra Petovello, in the thousands of community kitchens in popular neighborhoods throughout the country," they said in a statement, questioning the Minister of Human Capital.

Days ago, Pettovello gave an interview for the first time since taking office in December, where he referred to the government's food policy and said that it was designed “in a way that business is not done.”
There, he pointed out that the objective is to achieve “transparency” in the distribution of food and eliminate intermediaries so that the aid reaches the beneficiaries directly.
In that sense, he said that the only mediation they admit is “that of transparency through international organizations that audit the money that we give to the organizations.”
In addition, the Government decided to transform Potenciar Trabajo, which assists 1.3 million people, establishing the Ministry of Human Capital itself as the one in charge of segmenting it into two new programs: one aimed at promoting access to the labor market for beneficiaries and another to contain the most vulnerable sectors.
The organizations also criticized the cut in funds from the Urban Social Investment Fund (FISU), which was administered by social organizations in popular neighborhoods, which put an end to socio-urban integration works.
"All these attacks and specific adjustments to the workers who have the least happen without any type of dialogue or response. We try all possible channels to be able to provide a solution to these urgent issues and there is no longer any room, hunger in our neighborhoods is a limit," they concluded in a statement.
The bond between the parties has been extremely tense since it was the left-wing piquetero groups and those referenced in Peronism that made the repudiation of the policies of La Libertad Avanza most felt on the streets.
For this reason, they will carry out a joint action.
Eduardo Belliboni will be at the head of the Polo Obrero column, along with other leaders such as Emilio Pérsico, from the Evita Movement;
Juan Grabois, from the Excluded Workers Movement;
and Juan Carlos Alderete, from the Classist and Combative Current, among others.
