First he broke a window in Bad Tölz and then the perpetrator fled.
However, he left a clear trace - all the way to his hotel room.
Bad Tölz -
A spurt of blood led the police unerringly to the perpetrator: Early on Saturday morning, around 12:45 a.m., a witness reported that someone had broken a window at a shop on Ludwigstrasse.
Perpetrator leads police directly into the hotel room with a trail of blood
According to the police, the perpetrator had already run away when the officers arrived.
“However, it was relatively easy to identify him because a trail of blood led from the window pane to the hotel room, where the drunk 45-year-old from Merano could also be found,” writes the Tölz police station in its press report.
Property damage to the shop and the hotel
The damage to the window is estimated at around 3,000 euros.
The broken pane was then temporarily covered with wood by the Bad Tölz volunteer fire department.
The public prosecutor's office ordered a security deposit that the Merano resident had to pay on the spot.
The guest had left a trail of blood and prints in the hotel, which won't be cheap to clean.
