Strong and immediate reactions.
After the announcement of the re-election of President Vladimir Putin as head of Russia this Sunday, several countries questioned the result of the vote, the outcome of which was very predictable.
Among the first critics, Volodymyr Zelensky, at war with Russia since February 2022. The Ukrainian head of state criticized a leader “drunk with power”, wishing, according to him, “to reign eternally”.
“It is clear to everyone that this character, as has happened so often in history, is simply drunk with power and is doing everything he can to reign eternally,” Zelensky said in a message on social networks, believing that the Russian presidential election has “no legitimacy”.
Poland also condemned the Russian presidential election, saying it was “not legal”.
