Three people were injured in an accident at the Holzkirchner Spider on Saturday afternoon.
A 76-year-old from Lower Franconia ignored the right of way of a woman from Munich, which led to a collision.
As a result, the B318 was completely closed for an hour.
Holzkirchen - As the police announced, the accident occurred on Saturday, March 16th, at 1 p.m. at the so-called spider.
The 76-year-old from Bastheim in Lower Franconia drove his Mitsubishi from the B13 onto the B 318 - and ignored the right of way of a 54-year-old woman from Munich who was driving on the B 318 at the same time and who was traveling in a Mercedes with her passenger from Frankfurt was.
Both drivers and the passenger of the Mercedes sustained minor injuries and were treated on site by an ambulance team.
The driver of the Mercedes was taken to a nearby hospital.
Both cars were no longer drivable and had to be towed away.
The total material damage amounts to around 19,000 euros.
Due to the accident investigation and clearance work, the B 318 was completely closed for an hour.
The Holzkirchen volunteer fire department was on duty with two vehicles, the rescue service with five vehicles.
