At first glance, the intention seems laudable.
An overwhelming majority of French people expect the State to finally show itself to be economical, instead of putting them in debt, taxing them and imposing them endlessly, until a collapse that everyone feels is more and more likely.
Unfortunately, coming from you, this intention has nothing credible, and I will show you why.

The first reason not to trust you is that you have had seven years to reduce government spending.
Not only did you not do it, but you made the situation worse to the point of increasing our debt by 1,000 billion euros.
No matter how much you brandish the Covid-19 crisis as an excuse, no one believes you: Covid has been over for two years, but the deficit has remained the same.
Other countries than ours have resisted the pandemic without throwing money away…
