The St. Andreas Music Association once again organized an entertaining strong beer festival in Eching this year.

The Bayernbattle and a Gstanzl singer offered a lot of fun.

Eching

- The sounds of the club's own brass band were in the foreground at the strong beer festival in Eching.

The musicians from the St. Andreas Music Association presented Bavarian-Bohemian classics as well as popular catchy tunes from the field of light music.

Benedikt Migge sang in a duet with Maria Wallner or with young talent Sophia Felsner.

Fleischmann about MP Eckert: “He’s in the fire department because he knows best where there’s a fire in the town hall.”

This year, instead of a musical theater, Gstanzl singer Hermann Fleischmann, known as Herminator, illuminated local politics, club events or local personalities.

The song was sung with detailed knowledge, wit and incredible directness, always along a red line - often in front of it, but sometimes above it.

A slalom that the former Austrian ski star Hermann Maier of the same name could not have completed better.

The focus was on the Echinger clubs and people present such as former mayor Josef Riemensberger and MP Leon Eckert.

With regard to Eckert, the Gstanzl singer said: “He is with the fire department because he knows best where there is a fire in the town hall.” The 1250th anniversary celebrations and the Waaghäuslfest were also discussed.

The Herminator's second round was remarkable, with Gstanzl being dropped and a spontaneous sing-out.

Not to be forgotten: Maria Wallner’s skillful “saying”.

The musicians had to manage the catering on their own again.

The guests could choose between a strong beer snack and a cheese board, delivered by the Fischerhof in Großeisenbach.

The giant pretzels came from the ovens of the Herrmann bakery.

Finally, the strong beer came from Weihenstephan.

Mostly in front of, but also sometimes above, the red line: Gstanzl singer Herrmann Fleischmann impressed.

Three local clubs had registered for the “Bayern Battle”.

Their representatives had to compete with each other in several Bavarian disciplines.

These ranged from milking competitions on an artificial cow to lifting beer mugs and blindly feeding your partner - as always, great fun for the teams and their fans.

A knowledge game based on “city-rural-river” rules wasn’t always easy.

Points were only awarded for the fastest response (which of course had to be correct).

In the end, the victorious Eching fire department was able to get another meal voucher worth 50 euros.

Close behind in second place: the Eching boys' club, which went home with two porters of beer.

Narrhalla Heidechia secured a meal voucher worth 20 euros for “Bronze”.

Guests also felt right at home at the bar

The visitors didn't go away empty-handed either: Christa Rugullies won two tickets for the spring concert on April 27th when asked by the audience.

Another highlight was the bar, which was always well frequented.

At the end, music club boss Maria Migge emphasized: “We are pleased about the many positive feedback and the harmonious process.

How the strong beer festival in 2025 will be integrated into the framework of the music association’s 50th anniversary still needs to be examined.”
