Dieter Hallervorden and his wife Christiane are 30 years apart.
The fact that she would probably be without him was “an issue from the start” – but the two of them take it with humor.
Cologne - Actor and cabaret artist Dieter Hallervorden (88) has been married for the third time since 2022 - and is apparently happier than ever with his wife Christiane (58), who is 30 years his junior.
She is “the source of my love of life,” enthuses Hallervorden in an interview with “Gala TV”.
“To stay alive you have to breathe, eat, drink, sleep.
And then you vegetate.
But it's only fun when there's happiness, love, satisfaction and joy in life.
And all of this is done for me by my life supplement called Christiane.”

The large age difference and the transience of life were “an issue from the beginning” in the relationship between the two.
Dieter had already asked “whether I could handle it,” said the former stunt woman.
She adds: “We can handle it.”
Dieter Hallervorden also explained: “I will then go ahead and look for a nice place in heaven for both of us.” He has also been making sure for years that his wife “will always remember him lovingly and tenderly.”
According to the cabaret artist, it also depends on how you keep love alive.
“It doesn’t just require tenderness and kisses – but also obedience,” jokes the 88-year-old.
“I learned a lot there.”

The topic does not put a strain on the relationship. “We live life as long as we can do it together.
And we do that with joy and don’t let it spoil our lives.” And that’s exactly what their common denominators are – joy of life, spontaneity and curiosity.
“We like to travel.
We don't let a day go to waste.
If there is a party somewhere or there is an opportunity to do things that were not planned, then we are happy to join in,” says Hallervorden.
For Dieter Hallervorden, the age difference with his wife is “not a problem”.
He allows criticism from outside to bounce off him.

Hallervorden and Zander have been a couple since 2015 and have been married to each other since 2022.
This is the actor's third marriage: his first wife was the actress Rotraud Schindler, with whom he has two children.
His second marriage to Eleonore Blume lasted 25 years and they also have two children together.
