This is a first in a marina in France: Nouvelle Aire, the fueling station of the Old Port of Marseille, officially opened a bioethanol pump on Monday.

euros per liter, one euro less than gasoline
,” explains Anthony de Iaco.
The owner of the gas station estimates the market to be tiny for this season.

But we are participating in the decarbonization of boating
,” he concludes.

We financed
this first installation approved in France to the tune of 35,000 euros, to encourage boaters to switch to this fuel that pollutes less fine particles ,
”
adds Didier Réault, the vice-president of the metropolis in charge of the sea.
Benoît de Cuverville, general manager of Ethabox, a start-up which has developed E85 super ethanol conversion kits and boxes suitable for motorboats and jet-skis, welcomes the initiative:
