The accident of this microlight pilot could have been dramatic.
Friday, in the middle of the afternoon, a forty-year-old lost control of his aircraft in Messimy, near the Lyon-Brindas aerodrome.
His motorized ultralight crashed in the area in conditions which remain to be clarified, indicates a firefighter confirming information from Radio Scoop.
On site, around twenty firefighters were mobilized to come to the aid of the pilot stuck in his vehicle.
When they arrived, the victim was polytraumatized with several fractures, but conscious.
According to the latest information, his life is not in danger.
An investigation must now take place to understand the reasons for this crash.
