Alberto Fernández
came out this Monday to question the first hundred days of President
Javier Mile
i's government and received a
harsh response
.
The former president replied to a message through his X account (former Twitter) where a comparison was established between his management and the current one, and which reflects
a worsening of the economic situation in pursuit of fiscal balance
.
"100 days of government, nothing more to add," wrote Fernández, who has been questioning Milei's government for days.
The response was quickly in the hands of the presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, who retorted that his first hundred days of government "are not the best reference."
"The day yours were fulfilled, you were in charge of
decreeing an endless, cave-like quarantine
that gave way, in addition to the confinement itself, to the closure of schools, to an
uncontrolled monetary mission
that eventually ended up destroying our punished currency, to the
'Olivos party'
(where a birthday was celebrated while we closed businesses and our children were not educated) and a vaccination scheme that benefited many who should not have been a priority," wrote the national official.
At the same time, he referred to the release of prisoners from prisons, as well as the impossibility of saying goodbye to deceased family members, due to the restrictions established by the previous government in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis.
Dear Alberto: in your case the first “100 days of government” are not the best reference.

"There were also days where the 'interests of the leliqs' did not serve to increase pensions and where the merit and even the importance of the economic plans were questioned," he concluded.
By way of closing, Adorni did not opt for his classic catchphrase "Fin", but limited himself to sending "regards" to the former president.
Days ago, the former president complained about the inflation rates recorded during the three months of Milei's government and, with a particular cut, compared his management with that of the libertarian to finish his intervention with a request: he urged the President to "change the course” of the economy.
There he was critical of the February inflation rate of 13.2%, which was released by INDEC.
“Inflation during the December-February period has reached almost 60%.
The adjustment policy is plunging the economy into a deep depression, with social consequences of great magnitude,” expressed Fernández in his economic analysis and after leaving an inflationary record in his own management, with Sergio Massa as Minister of Economy.
On that occasion, Adorni was also the one who responded to him and pointed him out as "the person responsible for one of the worst governments in history."
Adorni listed what he called "some issues" that represented the Fernández government.
"Inflation, insecurity, decay, poverty and global isolation are just some of the issues that you have most faithfully represented."
