Students from the painting elective course at the Geretsried secondary school will be showing their works in the city library until March 27th.
Geretsried – “At the beginning, the bee on the flower seemed very difficult to paint.
In the end, it was my favorite point with which I could accentuate and center my work,” Mena tells our newspaper.
The ninth-grader at the secondary school enjoyed working on her flower picture in intense blue.
Her picture can currently be seen as part of an exhibition in the city library.
Away from grade point averages and exam stress: the city library offers a stage for young people's art

When welcoming the vernissage guests, the educator praised the great commitment of the numerous block course participants from five different classes in the eighth, ninth and tenth grades: “Since November, a lot of time and energy has been devoted to painting on the theme of spring flowers, even by the classes in exam stress,” she said.
On the day of the beginning of spring at the vernissage “Spring leaves its blue ribbon”, named after Eduard Mörike's poem, 16 versatile works were completed, which the proud students can exhibit in the city library until March 27th.

“We researched the topic and the spring-like templates together,” explained Blechschmidt.
Secondary school principal Christine Venus-Michel added: “Art is very important to us.
It is important to us that it is not always just about performance, but that inclinations can be further developed in the elective subject.” Visitors to the exhibition can now see this for themselves.
“The cooperation with the secondary school is an enrichment,” said the head of the library, Hannah Vogel, at the opening.
