Bank ATMs are being blown up or broken into more and more frequently - on the night from Saturday to Sunday in Kaufering
Between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., a VR Bank ATM on Viktor-Frankl-Strasse was “broken open with brute force” by previously unknown perpetrators, the Upper Bavaria North Police Headquarters reported.
The machine is in the cinema building and accessible from outside.
“Information on the number of possible perpetrators or escapes is not yet available at this time,” said the police on Sunday afternoon.
There is also no information available about the damage to the loot.
The property damage is estimated at a low 5-digit amount.
The Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police are investigating.
