Denklingen/Kaufering – In the district football league, VfL Denklingen secured three very important points, while FT Jahn Landsberg had to accept the next setback in the relegation battle.
Since the grass field was closed,
VfL Denklingen
had to play against bottom team TSV Brunnthal on the artificial turf - but coach Markus Ansorge's team also lived up to their role as favorites.
VfL celebrated a well-deserved 4-1 win that was ultimately never in danger and could have been higher, and scored three very important points in terms of staying in the league.
The Denklingers remain eighth with 30 points, but were able to increase the gap to the “dangerous places”.
The lead over Jahn Landsberg in the first relegation place is nine points with ten games still to play - so exactly two thirds of the season have been played - ASV Habach in relegation place 15 is already 13 points away.
Even without captain Armin Sporer (ankle injury), defender Moritz Tikovsky, who was unable to play, Tobias Schelke (torn syndesmotic ligament) and Tobias Ried (rebuilding after cruciate ligament surgery), the hosts clearly dominated the action.
After the goals from Dominik Karg (15th) and Simon Ried (26th) to make it 2-0 at half-time, the game was basically decided.
After the break, Stephan Schilcher (55th) and Johannes Greif (66th), who had just replaced new signing Emil Hirschvogel, made everything clear.
Alois Bachmann scored for the guests after just under an hour.
“A win that was well deserved due to our numerous chances and which allowed us to move further away towards a secure midfield,” said Coach Ansorge, pleased with his team’s confident performance.
Next Sunday, Denklingen has to play second-placed SV Aubing at 2:30 p.m.
The
FT Jahn Landsberg
failed to improve on Saturday after the 2-0 start against Habach.
There was a 3-0 defeat against SV Bad Heilbrunn (without the injured former FC Bayern goalkeeper Gerry Hillringhaus).
Anton Krinner scored in the 5th and 65th minutes, Max Lechner shortly after the restart.
As a result of the defeat, the Jahnlers slipped back to 12th place in the relegation zone.
Coach Armin Sanktjohanser was not completely dissatisfied: “That was a performance that we can build on.” On Saturday (2 p.m.) the Landsbergers will be guests at third-placed BCF Wolfratshausen.
