A rocket hit a grave in Kiryat Shmona/Ariyat Kiryat Shmona
A missile that was fired about two weeks ago towards Kiryat Shmona hit the graves in the city's cemetery - this was announced today (Monday) by the Kiryat Shmona spokesperson.
One of the three families whose loved one's grave was damaged has been updated.
"I was holding a memorial service when suddenly there was a 'boom', me and the whole family prostrated on the floor," said a Kadisha company representative.

A missile fired by Hezbollah towards Kiryat Shmona landed in the city's cemetery and hit three graves.
The religious council said that they informed one of the three families that the grave of their loved ones was damaged, and that they are trying to locate the other two families.
These are families of immigrants from Russia.
It was also reported that the graves will be repaired and renovated by the religious council and funded by the state.
"At the time of the fall, I held a one-month memorial service here," said Makhlouf from the Kadisha company, "suddenly we heard a 'boom', I and the whole family prostrated ourselves on the floor and saw the smoke coming out. Only the next day did I go upstairs to check exactly where the fall was."
Makhlouf finished his speech and asked the public not to go up to the cemetery without coordination with the Kadisha company and the Home Front Command.

Following the incident, Lt. Col. Dodo Peretz from the Home Front Command reiterated the instructions regarding memorials.
"Many people immigrate without coordinating. This place is an open area and it is dangerous with all that implies," he said, "that's why we ask to avoid going to the cemetery, we are in a very dangerous time. We can do these things at home, the period will end and we can return to normal and do what is required."
Lt. Col. Peretz emphasized that in case of arrival, one must first coordinate with the religious council and the Home Front Command, and that only up to 30 people should arrive.
