The case of Gerardo Morales in Jujuy
This arrest occurred after
another controversial arrest
of two people that occurred weeks ago
in Jujuy
for having published ironic tweets and photos on social networks that allude to the alleged infidelity of the wife of the former governor of the province, the radical Gerardo Morales.
The prosecutor in the case, Hugo Walter Rondón, from the Special Prosecutor's Office for Economic Crimes and Crimes against Public Administration No. 1 of Jujuy, considered that these publications affected Tulia Snopek, Morales' wife, and also his daughter.
“
The marital status of a totally innocent person was disturbed
, causing damage that is practically impossible to compensate,” said the prosecutor in relation to the girl.
These two people were
imprisoned for more than 50 days
until they were finally released by Justice, although they will continue to be prosecuted until the trial.
Morales defended the judicial action and said that he would take the case to the Supreme Court.
