Cotton Club pillows

These days more than ever, a deep and restful night's sleep is important for our body and mind.

We invest in the most pleasant and soft bedding, but sleep cannot be perfect if we continue to hold on to the favorite pillow beyond what is necessary.

Our pillow is one of the most important elements in the bed and the quality of sleep, most of us keep our pillows for many years and as a result we may experience poor sleep, allergies, neck pain and discomfort.

The recommendation is that as long as the pillow has no damage or liquid absorption, it is recommended to replace it once every two to three years.

Pillows that are treated properly will last longer, but if you have allergies or back pain, it is recommended to go and change the pillow soon.

So when should we change our pillows?

  • Neck, shoulder or head pain.

Let's start with the basics: we shouldn't wake up with sore necks and shoulders.

If it happens occasionally, it's normal, we all experience neck and shoulder pain more than ever due to prolonged sitting in front of the computer, but if it happens often and the pain continues throughout the day, it's a sign to change the pillows as soon as possible.

In addition, it is recommended to check different types of pillows such as Visco or maybe a softer pillow.

  • loss of shape.

Pillows have a specific shape intended to provide support, but as the material inside the pillow is compressed, it loses shape more easily.

If the pillow has lost its shape, it is a sign that it is time to purchase a new pillow.

Lumps are another issue to watch out for.

Sometimes it happens that the filling is compressed into lumps inside the pillow.

Lumpiness is caused by improper washing and drying and cannot be corrected.

  • Allergies and skin irritations.

There is nothing more frustrating than allergies that you don't know what their origin is.

Many times the source is in the place we least thought about it and this is the pillow we sleep on.

Although our skin is not in direct contact with the pillow (there is a pillowcase), the accumulation of dust and bacteria inside the pillow may cause skin irritations and allergies such as sneezing and coughing.

  • odors and stains.

We usually only notice the condition of our pillow when we change the sheets.

On hot nights or sleeping with your mouth open, the pillow may absorb liquids that are absorbed through the pillowcase, therefore, if we see stains or odors that do not pass through the wash, this is a sign that it is time to replace it with a new pillow.

To treat stains, spot cleaning with mild soap is recommended.

For larger stains or general care dry cleaning is recommended.

Cotton Club pillows

It has been several months that we are in a complex period and therefore the quality of our sleep has decreased.

Bad sleep directly affects our mood, mental state and health, so it is important that our sleeping area, i.e. the bed, be the most inviting, pleasant and embracing there is.

A pillow without proper support will make it difficult for us to enter a deep and restful sleep and will cause us to be in a repeating loop which will affect our daily mood.

We live in a complex time and the difficult days that we all experience impair the quality of our sleep, which affects our mood, our health and mental state.

That's why it's so important that at least when it comes to our bed - it should be as inviting, pleasant and huggable as possible, otherwise it will be difficult for us to fall into a deep and restful sleep.

In conclusion - the best advice we can give you regarding choosing your new pillow is to understand what things bother you the most today and from there choose the most suitable pillow.

Ask yourself - is the pillow too hard?

soft?

Its shape is good for me or I would like to examine it differently?
