José Pereira is a happy man.
That morning, the director of Les Arcades, in Noisy-le-Grand, proudly strolled through the aisles of the shopping center.
It presents the new brands that have joined this site with around 150 stores, owned by the Klepierre group: Zara, Starbucks, Normal, Adidas, Action, Pandora, Muy Mucho… “We have had around thirty openings over the last two years », he welcomes, announcing that Klepierre has invested “several tens of millions of euros in the center since 2022”.
Like many shopping centers, the Arcades have come a long way.
In 2019, the president of the merchants' association explained that the center had 15 to 20% vacant premises.
A year later, the Covid-19 epidemic appeared, triggering serial confinements and closures.
