Negotiations between Hamas and Israel are moving forward.
David Barnea, head of Hamas, is going to Doha this Monday where he was initially expected on Sunday.
He will offer a six-week truce, in exchange for the release of 40 hostages, reports an Israeli official, cited by Reuters.
The terrorist movement, behind the attack on Israel on October 7, until recently demanded a definitive ceasefire before any agreement on the hostages.
But, at the end of last week, he announced that he was ready to accept a six-week truce.
In this context, 42 hostages, women, sick and elderly people would be released in exchange, for each, from 20 to 50 Palestinians, imprisoned in Israel, against 120 to 150 initially requested.
Hamas also wants the withdrawal of the IDF from towns and populated areas, and the free movement of Palestinians within the Gaza Strip.
Israel would be willing to accept, but only for children or the elderly.
