candidates have been honored with the coveted macaroons, allowing the culinary competition to further establish its notoriety.

Young chefs represent, in fact, the next generation of French cuisine.

In 2023, four of them were honored with a first star by the Michelin guide: Jordan Yuste (season 11) for his restaurant L'arrivage, in Sète, Thibaut Spiwack (season 13) with his establishment Anona in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, Nicolas Seibold (season 7) with La Mutinerie à Lyon and finally Mallory Gabsi (season 11) for his eponymous establishment.

During this 2024 vintage, only one representative was, in fact, honored with a first macaron.

Camille Delcroix

, winner of season 9 of “Top Chef” in 2018 and protégé of Philippe Etchebest in the competition, won this distinction.

The chef, originally from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, chose to open a restaurant in his native region in Saint-Omer with his wife Carla Loxemand who works in the restaurant.

Named Bacôve, named after an emblematic boat of the region, the establishment was also distinguished in March 2023 by the Gault & Millau guide which awarded it the prize for “Cuisine of the sea, lakes and rivers” .

However, the Swiss Michelin Guide announced its stars in October 2023. During this ceremony, the cook still confirmed the first macaroon for which the restaurant was already distinguished.
