Keys handed over to Mayor Franz Obesser – construction costs amounting to 3.8 million euros

Indersdorf – In the past few days, the first municipal housing project in the market town of Indersdorf was completed.

In the new development area “Holzhauser Straße”, the market has built a residential building with ten apartments and 20 outdoor parking spaces.

But before the residents can move in, the official handover of the keys took place: The general contractor, Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH im Landkreis Dachau (WLD), officially handed over the keys to Mayor Franz Obesser, who symbolically received the building for Markt Indersdorf.

At the inauguration ceremony, Obesser welcomed his guests, including local councilors, municipal administration employees, representatives of architects, designers, construction companies and the neighborhood.

The mayor gave a review from the first municipal council resolutions to completion and thanked all municipal council members and his administrative employees, who always had a positive attitude towards the project.

At the same time, he emphasized the good cooperation with WLD, which implemented the successful planning by the GHK architectural firm from Dachau in 16 months of construction and within budget.

He pointed out that the project is funded by the government of Upper Bavaria as part of the municipal housing development program.

As part of the funding program, 30 percent of the total costs are granted as a state subsidy.

Funding applied for

In addition, the market has applied for further funding from the KfW 55 program, which expired in 2022.

From March, 25 residents will move into their new apartments at a rental price of 11 euros per square meter.

Stefan Egenhofer, managing director of WLD, presented some key data about the property to the participants.

The originally calculated construction costs of 3.8 million euros were met despite the sharp increase in general construction costs during the construction phase.

The two, three and four-room apartments have a total living space of 760 square meters, spread over three floors.

The heat is supplied via district heating, which is supplied by Thomas Schultes.

On behalf of the management, he also thanked the mayor, the local council, the administrative staff, all the construction companies involved and the government of Upper Bavaria for their trust and good cooperation.

The church blessing of the rooms then took place in an ecumenical service led by Pastor Gefjon Fischer and Deacon Raimund Richter.

Everyone involved is looking forward to the next inauguration ceremony next year for the second joint project between Markt and WLD on Greta-Fischer-Weg with nine apartments.
