On the sidewalks of this busy thoroughfare, a teenage girl was stabbed on Sunday, shortly after noon, a few meters from the stalls of the non-food market.
The victim, a young woman of 16, was brutally attacked a stone's throw from the Sablons metro station, by two men, one of whom stabbed her several times.
“She was hit several times in the chest,” confides a police source.
She was quickly treated by emergency services and transported to hospital with a life-threatening condition.

According to our information, the two alleged attackers were, shortly before the incident, with the victim and another young woman in the same vehicle.
A car which happened to be out of gas and which one of the two men was pushing, under the “protection” of a municipal police crew, keen to avoid an accident on this busy road.

The teenager then took advantage of this out of fuel to escape from the car and try to flee.
Under the eyes of municipal police officers, the man who was pushing the car then caught up with the young person and then hit her with his knife before allowing himself to be arrested, without putting up the slightest resistance.
The two men, adults according to the Nanterre public prosecutor's office, were arrested shortly after the events, then placed in police custody in the premises of the Neuilly-sur-Seine police station as part of a flagrant investigation opened for attempted of intentional homicide.
In addition to analyzing video surveillance tapes and interviewing witnesses, the investigators' work will focus in particular on the supposed link between the victim and her attackers.
According to a person close to the case, the young woman could have for a time "worked" on behalf of one of the two men, which is not confirmed by the Nanterre prosecutor's office where it is specified that "the relations between the victim and the other protagonists, as well as the context of these multiple stabbings are the subject of ongoing investigations.”
