More than 100 people were kidnapped in northwestern Nigeria in two separate attacks in Kaduna state, where more than 200 students had already been kidnapped in early March, local authorities said on Monday.
The attackers kidnapped 87 people in the locality of Kajuru Station on Sunday night, local government chairman Ibrahim Gajere said, while a UN source and a former local official told AFP that 16 people were kidnapped in a nearby village on Saturday.
