They will be called Chiara, Paolo, but also Anna, Riccardo, Maria.
These are some of the 13 symbolic names chosen by the municipal administration of Villa del Conte, in the Padua area, for as many public parks in the area of the capital and the hamlet of Abbazia Pisani.
The initiative, entitled "Living Roots", will be made official next Saturday with a ceremony open to all citizens. Symbol of life, strength and attention to the environment, the new plants - all strictly native (ash, maple, hornbeam) and at an already important height - they will be accompanied by a plaque bearing the name of one of the 13 most common names in the Municipality, seven female and six male. For the mayor, Antonella Argenti, "what is planned is a new initiative that brings together protection of the territory, environment and family: giving a name to a park means making it closer to people and the community, and becomes an incentive to take care of it".
