Munich – Rebecca Reusch has been missing for five years.

The then 15-year-old from Berlin disappeared in February 2019 after spending the night at her sister and her husband's house.

Since then, criminal experts have repeatedly commented on the missing person case.

To date, the young woman has not been found.

But now hobby detectives were hoping for a new lead.

Rebecca was reported missing on February 18, 2019.

Numerous searches followed - to this day the young woman has not been found.

In connection with the missing person, there is said to have been a police operation at an arbor near Friedersdorf in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg,

The property is said to belong or have belonged to an acquaintance of Rebecca's brother-in-law.

The brother-in-law is still suspected of being connected to the disappearance of the then 15-year-old.

He is presumed innocent.

However, the arbor in the forest was not searched by the emergency services.

Rather, the police operation was triggered by curious hobby detectives who probably wanted to investigate on their own.

They are said to have previously arranged to meet on TikTok to drive to the property with the arbor.

On the day Rebecca Reusch disappeared, a witness had a scary encounter in a forest.

At the beginning of March, the Berlin public prosecutor's office confirmed that the findings related to the Lauben property are currently being clarified.
