After former porn actress Jenna Jameson, known to fans as the 'Queen of Porn', contracted a mysterious illness in 2022 that left her unable to walk for over a year, she looks unrecognizable in a photo she posted of herself on her Instagram account.
In 2022, it was announced that Jenna Jameson, 49, was diagnosed with Guyan-Barre syndrome, a disease that begins with weakness, numbness, tingling, burning and pain in the limbs, then the muscles of the body weaken to the point of paralysis, which may progress to the respiratory and facial muscles.
Some patients need artificial respiration and close supervision in a respiratory intensive care unit.

It later turned out that she did not have this rare autoimmune disorder, and in the end she did.
But also managed to overcome whatever it was.
This week she uploaded a post of herself, to show her fans what she looks like now, compared to the peak days of the disease.
One post showed a photo of Jenna in a white bodysuit, alongside another photo of her with a treadmill.
Jenna wrote in the caption: "Here's a reminder. Count your blessings and be thankful. I lost the ability to walk over a year ago and thought I was done (life). I fought to get back and I'm constantly trying to become a better person. On the outside too, but more importantly on the inside . On this new moon, today, I show kindness. Love. Happiness. Join me."
"This is amazing. You are unbelievably strong," commented one of her fans.
Another wrote: "Honey, you're doing amazing."
A second Instagram post again showed a before and after comparison.
The first photo showed Jenna looking fuller and wearing a gray shirt.
The second showed a slim Jenna in a brown shirt and jeans.
