A fatal traffic accident occurred in Munich late on Monday evening.
According to police reports, a man was run over by a bus.
Update March 19, 7:17 a.m.:
In the morning, the police provided further details about the fatal collision that occurred the evening before in Lerchenau.
A bus on line 60 stopped as planned on Max-Wönner-Straße around 8 p.m.
While passengers were getting on and off, the person who later died got between the bus and the trailer for unknown reasons.
“As the bus drove off, the pedestrian fell and was run over by the trailer.
He suffered fatal injuries.
“The bus driver continued his journey until he was finally stopped by a witness who was following behind in a car,” the police report.

The identity of the deceased man has not yet been determined.
It is also unclear whether the bus driver noticed the accident.
Several passers-by who witnessed the accident had to be looked after by a crisis intervention team.
Emergency services from the Munich professional fire department provided support and illuminated the scene for the expert called in to record the accident.
