A German ZF Friedrichshafen plant has been in danger for a long time.
Now the company has sealed the end of the location.
Friedrichshafen - At the end of last year, the automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen announced that it wanted to close its factory in Gelsenkirchen (North Rhine-Westphalia) at the end of 2024.
So far, there has been at least some hope for the future of the location in the Schalke district thanks to an agreement between the group and IG Metall, which was concluded in February.
In a statement, the company now explains that it has not found an alternative to the closure.
