As the Olympic Games approach, the “social weather” is not clearing up at the RATP.
Less than a week after FO-RATP (the leading union among metro drivers), which announced its refusal to participate in meetings with management on the organization of work during the Olympic period, it is the turn of Unsa-RATP to leave by slamming the door.
In a press release released this Monday, Unsa-Groupe RATP (third union force in the company) indicates that it is “suspending, from this day, all social relations, on certain issues, with general management”.
The union, which deplores “a management walled in silence”, cites as a priority the social questions which will arise during the Olympic and Paralympic periods to justify this “empty chair” policy.
