Vanessa Huber has been missing for a year and a half.
Now the police have found a dead person in Unterhaching.
This is Huber's husband.

The dead man who was discovered in an apartment in Unterhaching last Friday is the husband of the missing Vanessa Huber.
The police announced this on Monday, confirming the information that the
Munich Merkur
had already reported exclusively on Friday (see original article below).
The body of the husband (40) was discovered on Friday around 10:30 a.m. in the apartment in Unterhaching.
After the smell of decomposition wafted into the hallway, the police ordered the apartment to be opened.
The cause of death is still unclear.
According to the police, appropriate forensic medical examinations were carried out, as is usual in such cases.
There is currently no evidence of external influence.
The investigators secured traces in the apartment, among other things, to obtain possible clues about Vanessa Huber's disappearance.
Further investigations into this matter are being conducted by Commissariat 12, in close cooperation with Commissariat 11, the homicide squad.

Unterhaching - Several fire department vehicles arrived on Friday around 10:30 a.m. to the apartment building where Vanessa Huber lived with her husband until her disappearance.
A little later the police and a funeral vehicle followed.
A body was found in one of the apartments.
According to information from the

, this is the 40-year-old husband of the missing person.
The Munich police headquarters has not officially confirmed this, but they cannot deny it either, a spokesman said.
The police came across the body after smelling a smell of decomposition in the hallway.
The dead man's mailbox was also overflowing, says the police headquarters spokesman.
The police then had the fire department open the apartment.
The cause of death is currently unknown.
Commissariat 12 has taken over the investigation into the case of the body that was found.

The K11, the homicide squad, is still investigating the disappearance of Vanessa Huber.
Huber disappeared without a trace about a year and a half ago on November 5, 2022.
The search for the missing woman took months; it was only in September that more than 120 riot police officers combed a forest area near Unterhaching for the woman - without success.
Recordings from a surveillance camera in a Norma supermarket are the last images of the woman from Unterhaching.
After an argument, she left the apartment and never returned, the husband told the police at the time.
She didn't take important things like her passport, money and cell phone with her.
It was only two days after the disappearance that her husband reported Vanessa Huber missing.

From the beginning, the police assumed it was a violent crime.
The husband was also targeted by investigators, but suspicions were not substantiated.
But the homicide squad is still investigating “a person from the immediate surroundings,” the presidium said in November.
The ZDF program Aktenzeichen XY also reported on the case.
But so far there has been no trace of Vanessa Huber.
