- After the famous diamond stars of Empress Sissi last year, Giovanna Engelbert has this time taken up the traditional and opulent shapes of the imperial tiaras which can also be found in the Mesmera collection.

- Swarovski has crafted the tiara for the Vienna Opera ball every year since 1956. A historic collaboration allowing it to showcase its unique know-how.

- Like a fine jewelry set, the debutante crown is made from a wax mold, then a metal structure which is mounted, welded and polished by the craftsmen of the factory in Wattens.

- Each tiara is set with 233 Swarovski crystals positioned one by one, meticulously, like precious stones to sparkle with a thousand lights on the day of the event.
In total, 22 hours of work are required.

Transparent and faceted like diamonds, the crystals have around twenty different shapes.
A gradient of sizes, ranging from the largest, placed at the top of each crown, to the smallest which adorn the base.

- “I hope the tiaras will give imperial confidence to debutantes.”
This was the wish of Swarovski's artistic director before the event held at the end of February in Vienna.
