After more than five months of war, thick secrecy surrounds the places and conditions of detention of Palestinians from Gaza captured by the Israeli army.
Despite insistent requests from NGOs specializing in the defense of human rights, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has still not had access to the military bases on which they are questioned, often for several weeks, after having been apprehended.
The army reveals neither their number nor their identities and refuses to comment on the accusations of mistreatment which filter out of these camps.
According to the daily
Haaretz,
27 prisoners from Gaza have died there since the October 7 massacre.
Each death would be the subject of an investigation entrusted to the military prosecutor's office.
The main camp identified by Israeli media is located on the Sde Teiman base, not far from Beersheva…
