The neo-melodic singer Tony Colombo and his wife Tina Rispoli remain in prison, arrested last October 18 as part of an investigation by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate into the Di Lauro clan of Secondigliano: the Court of Cassation has in fact rejected their appeals.

According to the investigators, the husband and wife financed the Camorra family founded by Paolo Di Lauro, known as "Ciruzzo 'o millionario".

Tony Colombo and Tina Rispoli were defended by lawyers Paolo Trofino and Carmine Foreste respectively.

Among the 27 people arrested in October by the ROS and the Naples Carabinieri as part of an investigation by the DDA (substitute prosecutors Giugliano and De Marco) there was also Vincenzo Di Lauro, son of Paolo, considered by the Neapolitan anti-mafia prosecutor to be the regent of the clan.

The carabinieri also seized assets worth 8 million euros.

Among the crimes contested are also external participation in a mafia association, auction rigging, and the aggravating circumstance of transnationality linked to cigarette smuggling.
