Last year there was a fire in Germany's largest amusement park.
That’s why attractions like the “Alpenexpress Gentian” are being rebuilt.
Rust - Europa-Park wants to provide information about new developments for the summer season on Thursday (9.45 a.m.) in Rust, southern Baden.
This will begin on Saturday, as Germany's largest theme park announced.
At the start of the season, the newly built roller coasters “Voltron Nevera” and “Alpenexpress Enzian” will not yet be open to visitors, as project manager Patrick Marx said.
The work in these areas has not been completed.
The roller coasters and the “Tiroler Wildwasserbahn” are scheduled to open in the spring - a date for this initially remained open.
The new Croatia theme area is being built around the “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” track - its full name.
The “Alpenexpress Enzian” was badly damaged in a major fire last year.
The roller coaster was therefore completely rebuilt.
The “Tiroler Wildwasserbahn” was also affected by the fire in June.
The fire broke out in a technical room of the “Yomi Magic World of Diamonds” attraction.
According to the online booking system, a standard day ticket for the park costs at least 61.50 euros in the new season.
