Three men were arrested for attempted assassination by an organized gang on a fourth in Salon-de-Provence,

learned from reliable sources.
On March 14, the victim chased a drug seller out of the lobby of his building.
“The victim also had a heated discussion with another individual
,” a colleague of the first, reports the divisional commissioner of the Salon-de-Provence police station, Éric Pierrat.
On March 15, the man's home was burglarized.
“They broke down the door, broke the television and all the valuables and stole his wife’s jewelry
,” explains Éric Pierrat.
On March 16, the door to his mother's home was set on fire.
On March 17, after ringing the man's doorbell, an individual shot into the front door.
“A bullet lodged in the washing machine without causing any injuries, fortunately
,” continues the divisional commissioner.
According to another police source, three individuals were seen by the victim fleeing and a second shot was fired in the stairwell.
The man then decided to file a complaint.
“He said he was the victim of a settling of scores on the part of the

“but we cannot confirm this at this stage”
, explains the policeman.
He formally identified two people, including a 17-year-old young man living in his neighborhood and already known for drug trafficking.
The teenager was arrested.
A car in a ditch, key to the investigation
On March 18, municipal police found a car in a ditch in Salon-de-Provence, which turned out to be equipped with a false license plate.
“We also find a blue flashing light, a five-liter can of gasoline, a few grams of cannabis resin, the description of a vehicle which was supposedly set on fire and a telephone
,” lists Éric Pierrat.
“The passenger of the vehicle left before the police intervened
,” he continues.
The driver, from Vaucluse, was questioned and the phone, belonging to the passenger also from Vaucluse, analyzed.
However, in this phone, investigators found the address of the mother of the victim of the burglary, as well as videos of the perpetrators ransacking the famous apartment.
The two Vauclusians were thus arrested in turn.
One of them was placed in pre-trial detention following his police custody, while the other two are under judicial supervision.
