Buckingham Palace has now informed US Weekly magazine that Princess Kate is taking a break to recover.
As soon as the doctors allow the princess to do so, she will resume her royal duties.
However, the 42-year-old is currently concentrating entirely on her health.
Prince William stands by his wife Kate and the family
The palace also told the magazine that Prince William would continue to carry out his duties - which he has done throughout the year.
Nevertheless, he will support his wife and family.
In the video, Kate also emphasizes that her husband is a great support to her during this difficult phase.
