The Royal Palace of Caserta will always remain open for the Easter holidays.
The Museum will welcome visitors every day from March 27th to April 7th, including April 2nd, which falls on a Tuesday (ordinary weekly closing day).
Furthermore, for the first time in years, the Royal Palace of Caserta will not close the English Garden on Monday in Albis and on April 4, Thursday in Albis.
"A choice of great responsibility for the Museum - says the director Tiziana Maffei - but also for visitors who are required to strictly observe the regulations and respect, among others, the absolute ban on having picnics and trampling on the lawns" .
The Museum staff, with the help of the police and the volunteers of the Royal Palace Unit of the Carabinieri association, will ensure that the heritage is respected by carrying out strict access controls;
there will be a ban on bringing in coolers, picnic accessories and balls.
"With these extraordinary openings - explains Maffei - the Royal Palace wants to demonstrate the desire to share the complex and evocative cultural experiences with its public, trusting in collective sensitivity and responsibility. The Royal Palace of Caserta has worked hard in recent years to change the perception municipality, in particular that of the Royal Park, which does not represent a simple green space but, remember, a UNESCO site and extraordinary Green Museum. These days of celebration will be an opportunity to demonstrate that it is not always necessary to close gates to safeguard the heritage, but that the love of beauty is an opportunity for personal enjoyment and care of common goods".
