In a video published this Friday at 6 p.m., Kate Middleton explains that after an abdominal operation in January, “post-operative” tests revealed her illness.
Facing the camera, blue and white sailor top, tired look framed by her long brown hair, the princess adored by the English has broken the silence which has surrounded her health for two months.
And put the entire country at bay.
“My medical team advised me to undergo preventive chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of this treatment,” announces Kate, sitting on a bench in Windsor, where the princely couple resides, in this video recorded on March 20 .
Not a word on the precise nature of the cancer that is eating away at her, nor on the progress of the disease.
