Apparently influenced by the events on the opposite lane, there was also a traffic jam in the direction of Munich caused by road users who were interested in an accident.
Two consecutive rear-end collisions occurred here around 1:20 p.m.
A 29-year-old Canadian woman and her passenger were unable to brake in time behind the car of a 19-year-old from the Günzburg district and rear-ended her.
A following 21-year-old driver from Bonn and his 20-year-old passenger from the Mettmann district were also unable to brake in time and rear-ended the Canadians.
Two people were moderately injured in these accidents, one of whom was also flown to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.
